First whales of the season!
Posted by: admin | February 9, 2010Monday, February 8th – Jeff saw his first humpback whales of 2010 just east of Biras Creek resort on Virgin Gorda. A large female with small calf were resting at the surface in about 50 ft of water. They were also accompanied by a small pod of bottlenose dolphin.
