Our Dive BVI – Yacht Harbour dive center is the flagship location of Dive BVI, situated in the middle of the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour marina complex. We’ve completely remodeled our dive center to better serve on our on-island guests. It is also our largest retail dive center, housing our Nitrox production, Scubapro Gear Repair Center, and 4 of our boats. We offer 2 dive trips daily from this location as well as snorkel trips, private charters, and our Anegada Day Trips.
We have a fully stocked retail dive shop along with air and Nitrox fills, gear rental, and general information about what to see and do on Virgin Gorda. We carry beach wear, Gorda Gear, Columbia shirts and shorts, REEF sandals, Maui Jim and Costa del Mar sunglasses, and, of course, our famous Dive BVI t-shirts and hats. Please stop in and check out the latest in island fashions.

Dive Schedule - We dive everyday of the week!
Morning: Our dive boat departs for a 2-tank dive trip every morning at 8:30 am, picking up at Little Dix Bay resort at 8:45 am. We usually have you back to the dock around 12:45 – 1pm.
Afternoon: We operate a 1-tank trip at 2:30 pm, picking up at Little Dix Bay resort at 2:45 pm. (Except Saturday when we depart in the afternoon at 1:45 pm (2:00 pm at Little Dix Bay) for a trip to the RMS Rhone) We recommend this option for snorkelers, new divers, and our experienced divers who haven’t been wet in a while!
Sailboat Pickups/Rendezvous are available at no extra cost – please call in advance to arrange the rendezvous.
Our dive site schedule is flexible with site selection based on weather, diver experience level and dive sites already visited. We want to dive in the best places possible, just like you! If you have a special request, please let us know in advance!
Special Dive Trips
Tuesday Morning – Famous 2-tank trip to the wreck of the RMS Rhone. This is a must for all divers – we do both dives on the wreck enabling divers to visit almost all of the site. Try it with Nitrox! Learn all about the history of this great wreck during your surface interval.
Thursday 2 tank Safari – Climb aboard our boat, Sea Lion, for a fun-filled day down island. This trip is great for families as it mixes diving and snorkeling. We depart at 9:30 am and head down to Norman Island for our first stop, The Indians, a great dive/snorkel spot. We then cruise over for a fantastic lunch at the Cooper Island Beach Club and then choose another site for a post lunch dive/snorkel. We arrive back at Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour at 3:30 pm.
Friday Morning – 2-tank trip with the first dive on the wreck of the Chikuzen (conditions permitting). Another excellent site, visited by numerous pelagic species. This site is several miles offshore, which makes it an advanced dives most days of the year. Please check with the shop for weather forecast.
Saturday Afternoon – 1-tank dive and guided snorkel trip to the wreck of the RMS Rhone. Designed for all snorkelers, novice divers and experienced divers, this trip visits the shallower portions of the wreck allowing non-divers to snorkel this famous wreck. Experienced divers are also welcome – a perfect trip for the family with a mix of divers and non-divers.
Night Dives are scheduled every Thursday night and/or whenever diver interest dictates. We need 4 divers minimum.
Not a certified diver – No worries! - Try Scuba Diving classes are taught daily (except for Thursday) starting at 9:30 am until about 11:30 am for the class/shallow water practice with the dive departing the Yacht Harbour at 2:30 pm (2:45 pm at Little Dix Bay). Please book in advance to ensure available space. Try Scuba Diving – the first level in the SSI system, this “resort” course is designed to give you the opportunity to try out scuba diving under the direct supervision of one of our professional instructors. After a short session covering the basic theory of scuba, you get the opportunity to try out the equipment in shallow water while learning some basic scuba skills such as mask clearing and how to equalize your air spaces. The course concludes with a shallow dive on one of our beautiful reefs guided by one of our pro staff. The dive portion can be repeated any number of times without having to repeat the theory and shallow water training.
Nitrox Production – Our Nitrox system is located at Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour. We offer Nitrox fills at 32%. For special mixes (up to 40%), please let us know 24 hours in advance in order to provide better service. An Enriched Air certification card is required for each diver needing fills.
